Walmart to aid in the advancements of SOTV
The WalMart award grant will enable us to offer more STEMS experiences to our students. Our plans include flight simulation geography exercises, biomimetics, water quality testing, CAD/3D printing, apps, software coding text editors, IoT Arduino connected device programming, graphic arts software, spreadsheets, STEMS entrepreneurship, financial literacy and computer science basics. We have only one tablet that students use to program and fly our drone. The chemistry kit demonstrates molecular structure as we explore the fundamentals of nontoxic chemical engineering. With these tools, we aim to create an educational pipeline in learning STEMS disciplines used throughout various industries.
